I used these adorable border of butterflies that come with this set below. 

 I masked over them and sponged my background on the front and inside.  I even printed on vellum for just one of my butterflies on the front of the card.

Fab Friday Cocoa

It's Fabulous Inky Friday at Tiddly Inks. 

What does that mean?  

An entire post of eye candy from the Tiddly Inkers. 

You probably think I'm crazing a cocoa image in spring?  Well....you cannot tell it is spring by looking out MY window. It is cold and rainy.  I have been wanting to ink up this cutie for some time and yesterday I was shopping in Big Lots (a bargain store) and found this box of Swiss Miss MINT hot chocolate.  I knew it was the perfect excuse to make a tag with her and give it to my friend.  

Here's an angled view. I can't tell you how long it took me to find a ribbon that did not look like Christmas. Ha.  And I had to have that ribbon....you know why?  Because when I pulled the price tag off it left a little goo behind so thus the ribbon and tag. Yep.

Tiddly Inks Throwback Anna Belle

It is Throwback Thursday on the Tiddly Inks Blog Today.  

I printed out my image then cut off the bottom portion at mid melon.  

Then I cut another white piece the size of the cut off panel.  I adhered washi tape over it then cut off a little area where the black is and cut a matching black piece.  I printed and colored another melon and popped up with pop up dots.

SugarPea Unmatched

I am playing with my new SugarPea Stamp Sets as their March Guest Designer. 

I made this card for today's Clean And Simple Cards Challenge on splitcoaststampers. 

Today's challenge is color blocking and a die/punch. 

For my color blocking..............I just used Copics and Washi Tape to mask.

Instead of using the die cut I used the negative to focus these cute SPD images. 

I curved my sentiment to fit just right under my circle.

AJVD {EGG}cellent Easter Basket Treats

 I am Guest Designing over at the A Jillian Vance Design Blog today with these fun little Easter favors. 

 I used Versamark Ink Pad and Clear Embossing Powder.  

It gives the image a nice shine that matches the candy wrapper. 

 These ones are perfect for your Easter place settings or a baby shower favor.

These ones I used Versamark Ink pad and White embossing powder. 

I just punched a 1" circle and layered two 1 1/16" dimensional dots. 

 Your family, friends, co-workers, teacher etc will be pleasantly surprised to receive this cutie. 

Can't you just see these brightening up your Easter table?!

 Just a 4 1/2" square scored at 1 1/2 and 3" both sides. 

Cut a on one side and turn and repeat for your flaps and I used score tape.

TI Challenge Happy BIRDday

A New Challenge is up at Tiddly Inks .... Birthday.

We want to see your Tiddly Inks Birthday creation...............don't have Tiddly Inks images?

No problem, Christy's images are very affordable and there are some cute Digital Freebies in the shop to get you started.  

I set up my image in Microsoft Publisher and printed onto Neenah Solar White 80lb paper. 

(this is what I like to use Copics on). I put individual text boxes on each little bird's paper to put my letters on for my sentiment. I cut out around the bottom of the branch then popped my panel up with dimensional tape.  I used this adorable image below.

Too Sweet Loll

I just had to play in today's Clean Simple Cards Challenge on Splitcoaststampers.

I colored her totally with copics

AJVD GD {EGG}cellent Easter Treats

I have two fun {EGG}cellent Easter treat ideas to share.  

Here I embossed the sentiment in white for a more elegant look. This would make perfect place settings on Easter dinner.  I used three colors of green cardstock and Martha Stewart grass punch for my bg.  The eggs are taped in place. 

I love how this sentiment looks on the vertical and in black.

I got my inspiration from THIS card by Jennifer McGuire. 

The white panel is popped up with dimensional tape.  I printed and colored just this cut dog's head and popped up on the panel and with two layers of tape on the base.

AJVD GD Tree-mendous Easter

My tip today is using a white gel pen to add pizazz to your coloring.
