ENABLER ALERT

ENABLER ALERT.
I have completely fallen head over heals for SugarPea Designs Stamps by Wendy Ramlakhan.
They are the cutest and Wendy is even having a Valentines Sale this weekend too.

This card is for the
SugarPea Designs Anything Goes Challenge
I loved pulling the shutters forward for dimension.

And for Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge
I used the faux wood technique on my kraft bg to look like a house.

I bought this cutie
from the SugarPea Designs new release

and could not wait to ink her up once that mail man brought her.
I had this idea when I first saw this stamp set which was love at first site.
I cut out along the image cutting off the bottome of the branch and the side of the extending branch.
Then colored simply, folded the shutters forward added glossy accents to the glass of the window and popped up just the middle on my card.

RECIPE:
STAMPS: What's Mew? (SugarPea Designs)
PAPER: Kraft (Papertrey Ink), RAK white,
INK: Versafine Onyx Black, Copics: BV02, N10, G24, E57, E00, Y23, N0, Tim Holtz Distress Inks Vintage Photo, Anitque Linen, Walnut Stain, VersaMark

I paper pieced him and created a scene with punches and dies and sponging my sky.

This little bunny makes ME smile!

WHOOO LOVES YOU VALENTINE

It is time for a new Tiddly Inks Challenge
Come join us and get your Valentines done at the same time in our
Valentine's Challenge

 I made a Latch Sleeve
It is a great way to dress up and personalize a box of Sweethearts conversation hearts.
I used the adorable Tiddly Inks Digi
(this is a picture of it closed)

I enlarged the image
so that the owl would take up most of my 1 1/2" circle die

This is also for the
Fusion Challenge #3
I chose the photo as my inspiration ... Valentine, heart and box.
My project is a Valentine, I made a heart embellishment and covered a box of conversation hearts.

Here it is unlatched.
I used the faux wood technique to make my sleeve look like a tree trunk.
Made my own embellishment (heart) by punching out a heart of white card, colored with Copics and covered with Glossy Accents.
Open.
I do have glue dots at the top and bottom of the box holding the sleeve on.
I sponged color onto the green scallop circle using Tim Holtz ink and blender tool.
I made my own sentiment, cut it up and popped it up.

RECIPE:
STAMPS: Who Loves You? Digi (Tiddly Inks)
PAPER: Kraft, Chartreuse, White (Papertrey Ink)
INK:Printer, Copics: R20, R22, R43, R46, E33, E35, E37, BG000, BG01, BG05, YR23, Y17, Y21, Tim Holtz Distress Inks Shabby Shutters, Antique Linen, Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo
ACCESSORIES:Cuttlebug, Spellbinders circle and Scallop circle dies, 3D Foam Squares (Scrapbook Adhesives), Dodz Medium (Scrapbook Adhesives), Glossy Accents (Inkessentials)
TECHNIQUES: Latch Sleeve, Sponging, Dry Embossing

Exciting News

Come meet Ellie and Chloe...
Brand new release from Tiddly Inks.

I also have exciting news to share.......I am on the Tiddly Inks Design Team.  Yay. I just love Tiddly Inks.
I made a clean and simple card using Ellie from the new digi

I kept the coloring simple
just using one marker for each color and shading by layering in the bigger areas.  I printed out two of this image, the second I colored and cut out her hair, dress, and shoes, embossed them and popped them up for dimension.

This card is also for a few fun challenges.
I kept her simple
with the coloring and making her hair, dress and shoes the same colors to draw attention to the rainbow pattern of her sleeves and knee highs.

I tied on a photo anchor
with a piece of licorice divine twine and knotted the ends at the top of my card.  This just added the finishing touch.

I trimmed off 7/8" from the width of my card and place cute Ellie off the side.

RECIPE:
STAMPS:Ellie Says Hi Digi Stamp (Tiddly Inks)
PAPER:White RAK base, GP, True Black (Papertrey Ink)
INK:Printer, Copics: RV04, YR04, E00, Y17, BV02, YG23, B04, Staedtler pigment liner 0.7
ACCESSORIES: Cuttlebug, CB Distressed Stripes Embossing Folder, Corner Chomper 1/2" rounder, Scotch dimensional tape 1/16", Licorice Divine Twine, Photo Anchor
TECHNIQUES:Dry Embossing
