JUST FLUTTERING BY

I saw today's Colors for this week's Color Challenge on Splitcoaststampers and just had to play. 

I used Basic Grey's Fact paper pack to paper piece with. I've been seeing a lot of talented designers place a panel at an angle coming down a corner and I love it so I gave it a try. 

I used my set I designed for A Jillian Vance Design

FLUTTERS & FLOWERS 

I adhered my blue panel then stamped my butterfly 

and sentiment at the same time using my Fiskars Stamp Press.  Then I cut out two orange butterflies and two yellow bodies.  (I inked the edges of all pieces including blue panel before I adhered them.  I adhered the orange butterfly down, then adhered the other orange butterfly under the body only so the wings would pull up slightly for dimension.  Then I adhered the yellow body then popped up the other yellow body on top of it.  That's it.  A very simple fun card.

{POP}ing By To Say...

Today's Clean And Simple Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers is a Color Challenge. 

I used the set I designed for A Jillian Vance Design

{POP}ing By

I cut my top panel slightly smaller width wise only and cut the circle die from it.

I die cut a larger circle in white to place underneath that I stamped the shadow on .

Then stamped my bottle on it in brown and colored it in with a dark grey so it would look like a shadow underneath the top popped up one.   I colored the top bottle with Copics then placed a light layer of Fruit Punch stickles on top and cover with dimensional glaze.  

One of the things I love about clear stamps is how you can curve the sentiments around a shape. 

That is what I did here.  I used the fiskars stamp press (one of my favorite tools) I placed the spellbinders circle die on it than placed the sentiment the way I wanted around it.  It works like a charm.

SMELL THE DAISIES

This is a little card 3 1/2 x 5.  

I made it for today's Inspiration Challenge on Splitcoaststampers.  I chose THIS JOURNAL as my inspiration.  This little card base and envelope were RAK from my sweet friend Trudy.  I pulled them out today for this project. 

I stamped the background first using a light ink and Background Builder Gingham from A Jillian Vance Design.

Then I used my very own set I designed 

Flutters & Flowers 

for A Jillian Vance Design first in green then stamped again in black on a scrap piece.  Colored the flowers, cut them out and popped them up then added stickles and glaze.  Finished off with divine twine and corner rounder.

PINK

My all time favorite color is PINK.  

I love to surround myself with pink by wearing it.  This is my absolute favorite sweatshirt given to me by my Mom when I lost 50 pounds so I could fit into it.  It even has thumb holes at the cuffs. Love that.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOT STUFF

Today is my husband's birthday.  

That is why I bought this adorable set in the first place, to make his birthday card with it............he is a pizza lover.  I played in today's FREE FOR ALL CHALLENGE on Splitcoaststampers to use patterns.  So I used three patterned papers, divine twine adds a little pattern and can you see I used an argyle embossing folder for another pattern/texture. 

I am using the same set I used yesterday, you are going to be seeing a lot of him.

PIZZA MY HEART VALENTINE

If you have not checked out Wendy Ramlakhan's NEW SUGARPEA DESIGNS.....you just have to. 

I played in today's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE on Splitcoaststampers. 

Today's challenge was to use tape............I used Washi Tape as a border on the bottom of my white panel. 

This is a little 3x3 card that I made for Valentines Day for my hubby.  

I put little notes all over the house with pieces of candy etc on V-day! He loves it.  So when I got this set I knew I wanted to use it a little differently than I saw the DT use it and came up with this.....cutting out the heart pizza and using it solo with this cute sentiment. 

I just bought this cute set PIZZA MY HEART and could not wait to ink him up.

SEALED WITH A ....FISH

Playing in my favorite CAS challenge over on Splitcoaststampers today.
Today's challenge is a sketch challenge based on this fun card by Jan.

I kept the three shapes within the strip across my card. 
I used circle dies to cut out of my blue panel.  Then I stamped my fish and used the circle dies to cut out then color.  I popped up my panel and circles.  For my sentiment I masked it to separate the top and bottom words.

A SMILE FOR KRIS

When I saw Wendy's Pay It Forward Challenge for today's Free For All Challenge on Splitcoaststampers I just had to play. 

 I am really bad about sending out cards and on time especially so I accepted this challenge of making a card for someone specific and mailing it out ASAP.  

This is for my sweet friend Kris that has been a great friend. 

 Wanted to send her a smile.  This is very CAS.  I used this fun digital image from Hambo Stamps CLOWN SHOES.  I masked him and drew my grounding line and sponged around him using chalks.  Then I cut out just his head, colored in his smile and popped it up.

FUN FLAKES

Happy New Year. 

It has been a long time since I have posted.  This is a card just for fun as I decided to play in one of my favorite challenges.............CAS challenge on Splitcoaststampers.  Today's challenge is to use snowflakes.
