DARE TO GET DIRTY WEEK - HEARTFELT WISHES

I made this sample for my friend Stacy's challenge. 

I used Microsoft Publisher

to place my digis from Tiddly Inks Wryn-Heartfelt Love set.  I printed out my card base and two other copies of Wryn for my Gingham.  I stamped the two extra Wryns with the Gingham Background Builder Cling Stamp from A Jillian Vance Design. First cut out shoes, dress and barrett from one then just the dress from the other.  

I adhered the dress, shoes and barret

then adhered just the top of the second dress and placed dimensional tape on the bottom of her dress only to pop it up and give dimension.  Voila.  A clean and simple card.

celebrate your Heritage, show your country pride and celebrations.

I challenged myself to use colors other than red, white and blue

So I was inspired by the tradition of tying a yellow ribbon around a tree to support the military and hope your loved one returns home safely.  My son returned home last month safely and I am so thankful.  It is in that spirit that I made this card...........with gratitude to all the men and women that serve and have served in the military. Thank YOu.

Thank You For Our Freedom

Happy Fourth of July to all my U.S. Followers.  

This card touches my heart because it is inspired by my Marine son that just returned home from serving in the U.S. Marines.  I am so thankful he is home safe. This card is to look like a military shirt with a chain and dog tag hanging.  I am very thankful to all the men and women and have served and are currently serving so we can enjoy our freedom. Thank You.
