YOU SHORE ARE GREAT

This card is for this week's

I am using the free digi I got just for playing in last week's Hambo Hoedown challenge. 
(available now for purchase in the store from Hambo Stamps)
I made my faux wood sentiment panel using the FAUX WOOD TUTORIAL on Splitcoaststampers.
I printed out my lighthouse on my card. Then printed out the bottom part on my DP then used a grass punch.  I printed out another light house, colored, embossed, sponged and popped up.  My sentiment  panel I first used my ink on it then printed out the sentiment on it then embossed and hit it one more time with the darkest ink pad.

WHAT A SUMMER TREAT

I was spoiled last week with the visit of my Marine son visiting for a couple days before he deploys to Afghanistan next Month. I think I'd worry myself to death if I did not believe in the power of prayer and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am so thankful have a willing Father in Heaven that will make my burdens light and allow me to put my trust in Him. 

Today I am playing in the CLEAN AND SIMPLE (CAS) Challenge on Splitcoaststampers

I used my digi I designed for Clear Dollar Stamps 
 I Printed my sentiment and watermelon on my front panel.  I printed out another watermelon, colored simply, embossed and popped up with 1/8" Zap Dots.

For my sample I used this fun set


I made the sentiment the size I wanted in Publisher. Then printed out. I also printed a second one to cut out just the BABY letters to pop up with 1/8" thick Zap Dots. I used my Scor-Pal to make a 3/4" scored border . That's it. This is so easy to make using the color sentiment.

August Digi Releases


ITS DIGI DAY

I'm showing you samples made using my new digis this month.
First up is
(contains color and outline images)
My sweet friend and fellow DT member Laurie Wilson taught me how to color my digis. My new sets have Color and Outline images. For the above card, I printed out my apple core 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 then cut it out, adhered it to my card base using removable tape and cut around it very carefully.  Then I cut the seeds only and top and bottom that I Printed. I embossed them all, sponged the edges and popped up the fronts.

My second sample are bookmarks I made using my new digi

These bookmarks are really easy using the Color images. In Publisher I arranged them, printed them out then cut so I cut around the top and hands them straight down from the side of the book. Easy. I have little 8 1/2 x 2 1/2 clear plastic bags to put them in made just for bookmarks.

This time I am using the outline images. I just could not wait to color up this cutie. I printed out this scene of these cute readers and colored just the one.

Apple Licious Sneak Peek

Here's a sneak peek at one of new digis releasing tomorrow. 
Its called Apple Licious and I designed it for Clear Dollar Stamps.

I made this for this week's 

My square card is 5 x 5.  I used Publisher to print out my sentiment from the set.  Then I punched my two 1/16" holes and threaded my twine through.  I printed out three outline trees and colored parts of each, cut out, embossed with eb folders, sponged edges and layered with dimensional tape.

Uh Oh Bailey

I'm playing in this week's Hambo Hoedown 77.....Olympic Colors.
Did you know when you play in this challenge and follow the guidelines you get a free digi the following week?

I used ALL of the Olympic colors
Red - Bailey's collar
Black- Bailey's nose and flower centers
Blue- flowers
Green- flowers stems and grass
Yellow- Bailey

I used this adorable Hambo Stamps Image
(I won him a couple week's ago playing this challenge)
I used Publisher and arranged Bailey and the flowers on my card so they look like he is popping up out of the garden (bad puppy).  The grass hides the parts I don't want you to see. Sneaky!
