I am here with another sneak peek. This time I am using the May release Monster Madness. I had so much fun altering this 3 x 5 spiral notebook. It is very easy. And by not lining up the lips with the outline makes it look even better and easy. 

RECIPE:

STAMPS:Monster Madness (The Alley Way Stamps)

PAPER:White cardstock (Papertrey Ink)

INK:Memento Tuxedo Black, Rose Bud, Tangelo, Bahama Blue, Pear Tart

ACCESSORIES:1/8" hole punch, 3 x 5 spiral notepad

TIP: You can also add a top layer of acetate for protection. I like to do that.

AROUND THE HOUSE

That is this week's CAS challenge

on The Outlaws Challenge Blog

So the challenge is to incorporate something from around your house on your CAS card. I used an empty toilet paper roll for my leaves and stem. I flattened my roll using a bone folder. Than I cut about 1/4" widths using my paper trimmer. I used my wide two way glue to put glue on the bottom of my leaves and press onto my dp. After they dried I carefully cut around them.  That's it. Easy.

This is my card for this week's 

Clean And Simple Challenge on Splitcoaststampers

AT THE ZOO

I used a pre-colored digital image

FRIEND IN NEED

I printed the image twice...once for the full image and the other just for the hippo's head to pop it up. I cut out the circle shape from the full image. Then I adhered my cut out head using removeable tape and ran the circle die back through my Cuttlebug and embossed. Then popped up the head.

If Mother's Were Flowers....

Today's 

Outlaws CAS Challenge 

ANYTHING GOES

I chose to make a Mother's Day card using one of my new April Digis and brand new flower punches I picked up on sale for half price yesterday at Michaels. 

I used this April Digi designed by me for Clear Dollar Stamps

DAISIES FOR HER

Details:

I masked off my blue area using Post-It Notes. Then sponged using Tim Holtz Distress Ink Broken China and the Tim Holtz Blending Tool. I did this with my hole paper intact (card is not cut out yet). Then I ran it back through my printer to print my sentiment on. 

Next I cut out and folder my card. Punched out my grass with the Martha Stewart Grass Border Punch. Then ran it through my paper crimper. Cut to size and adhered with score tape.

Lastly, I made my flowers using a $1 sun shape punch from Michaels. Plus the small Reflections flower punch from Michaels.  I punched out three flowers from white cs and three middles from Fresh Papaya CS from CDS. I shaped them by folding them around my embosser.  Layered them, adhered with flowersoft glue and lastly added Studio G glitter glue on the centers. I adhered them to my card using the Flower Soft Glue.
