For my CAS card today I just used good old stamping. Surprise. I combined three stamp sets to make my Christmas tree. I made my tree using the Spare Me set from SugarPea Designs. I used the front and back of the silhouette arrow and the silhouette design for the top. I Made the tree trunk using a dotted line stamp from Stripes 202 and stamped it in between the sentiment fromIn The Meadow, both from A Jillian Vance Design.
I used the sweet girl from Twinkle Twinkle. I paper pieced her and the teddy then cut her out with the circle die and fussy cutting. The sentiment I used on the tag is from Bountiful Blessings. I used Halloween papers on a non-Halloween card.

Isn't she the cutest! I had fun coloring her. I paper pieced her overralls to match my background designer paper. I used C1 and C3 Copics to give a little shading on them. I then cut up the legs and curved them with my finger all around and popped them up. This gives them shape.
How I got my strip in the center?
I stamped her in the center of my panel. Then I cut two lines 3/4 apart from the bottom and from the top just to the outline image where I cut along the lines of the image. Then I popped up the whole panel for a little dimension. You can see Maile Belle's Tutorial for this Cut Out Panel Technique HERE.
Here's a little close up.
Here is the inside to match the front.
