It's SugarSketch time at SugarPea Designs.

Here is my take on the latest sketch SPDSS25.
I sponged my background then for my horizontal panel I used vellum (hard to see).  Then I used this cutie for my vertical panel from Love You BunchesI used washi for the other elements and stamped my sentiment on my banner from SugarCuts Gift Tag Die.

Yappy Birthday

This is a "just for fun" card.
I was inspired by THIS card by Kia Gibson-Capper aka  kiagc on splitcoaststampers.

I used this adorable set Hot Diggity Dog from SugarPea Designs.
I first sponged my grass using Tim Holtz Distress Ink Crushed Olive.  Then I paper pieced my pups, colored in the shadows with Copics then adhered to my card front except for the tails.  I stamped my sentiment and tail wag lines, then I masked off the sentiment to get my dog yaps.

My card is also for this week's Simon Says Stamp

Supplies
Stamps:  Hot Diggity Dog (SugarPea Designs)   Paper:  Recollections White 110#, Black (Michaels), vellum, Basics Stack (DCWV)   Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, Soft Stone Dye Ink (Papertrey Ink), Distress Ink Crushed Olive (Tim Holtz), Copics YR02, YR04, YR07, C1, C3, C5, E31, E33, E35  Accessories:  Ranger Mini Blender Tool   Techniques:  Paper piecing

Sorry Annie

Did you grab this Freebie?
Yep, you heard me, she is free at Tiddly Inks
until next Tuesday when there will be a new Freebie.
So grab her while she is free Annie Freebie.

I computer generated the sentiment using the font Blackadder ITC.
I figured I could use it as a sympathy card etc.  Just fits her expression. Isn't she just the cutest?!
I made her dress omber using three copics that I drew strips then blended.

I made her for two challenges.
I colored her dress ombre using three copic markers and blending.

SPD15 - Background Love

SugarPea Designs'
Latest Theme Challenge is up!
Come play with us.

It is Anything Goes this time!
I recently watched Jennifer McGuire's Simple Foiling Video which inspired me to pull out SPD's Build A Background Basics stamp set and play.  I stamped the back side of the stamp first to get a solid line. Then I flipped it back over and stamped the design in a darker color.

Then I built upon it,
stamping this wonderful sentiment from the Special Delivery stamp set.  Next, I cut the SugarCuts Heart Border die from Silver Metallic paper and adhered at the bottom of my border.  Finished it off with a die cut using the SugarCuts Heart Journal Card.

My card is also for this week's Simon Says Stamp

Supplies
Stamps:  Special Delivery, Build A Background Basics (SugarPea Designs)   Paper:   Recollections 110# White (Michaels)   Ink:  Rose Bud, Lady Bug (Memento), Versafine Onyx Black   Accessories:  Cuttlebug, SugarCuts Heart Border, Heart Journal Card (SugarPea Designs)
